Established in 1994 as Amari Watergate Bangkok, the property has long stood as a landmark Amari destination, found in the heart of the capital’s vibrant Pratunam district. Just steps from the city’s top shopping, dining and entertainment hotspots – including city favourites Pratunam and CentralwOrld – it has gained recognition as a leading city hotel for over two decades.

In 2010, the property officially became part of the ONYX Hospitality Group portfolio, marking a new chapter of elevated standards and brand consistency. Following a major renovation in 2021 and a comprehensive rebrand in 2024, the hotel re-emerged as Amari Bangkok, reflecting a bright new design language and refreshed guest experience.
